The Society, which has served the Town of Sandwich
for over 90 years, endeavors to make this organization last for another
hundred years. This takes the work from talented people like you to
supply us with the necessary resources to keep preserving Sandwich
history. You can help reach our goals and mission by sponsoring our

Publications Sponsor

The
Society has published a research bulletin every year since 1920. The bulletins
deal with a wide variety of local research topics including notable
individuals, building history, genealogy, and education. All of the
excursion bulletins are available for purchase from the Society. To see

Three newsletters are published by the Society every year. This
document, sent to our members and friends, contains the seasonal review of the
Society and is an important resource for researchers.

Exhibit Sponsor

Each year the Society presents a major exhibit at the Elisha Marston
House Museum. The 2008 exhibit Sandwich at Play: The History of Rural
Sports and Recreation in Sandwich NH will provide a knowledge base
of sports and recreational activities through the use of artifacts,
photos, and other related materials. The exhibit will be open June 28
through October 10.

Grange Restoration Project
The
Society is initiating a long-range restoration plan for the Grange Hall.

Program Sponsor
The
Society is presenting many of its traditional programs this year,
including the opening reception which celebrates the new exhibit
and the opening of the Marston House, Transportation Museum and Lower
Corner Schoolhouse and the annual picnic which has been held annually
